An on site demonstration was carried out, on behalf of one of our resellers, to show the versatility of the Porta-Gantry in a restricted space. A small Porta-Gantry was taken to Landrover at Gaydon and erected in the engine test cell to facilitate the removal of the dynomometer and improve the time taken to complete engine exchanges. Once positioned, it was easy to refine the specification and propose customisation to allow lifting to take place within the restricted height conditions.  A small Porta-Gantry unit rated at 1500kg with 75mm vertical adjustment spacing, a 3 meter beam and an integral hoist trolley was specified.  The gantry was personally delivered within the requested time scale and then used to provide on site training for correct assembly and usage.
