Overload Protection Chain Hoist systems
REID Lifting Ltd further enhances its lightweight, portable lifting solutions with an integrated Overload Protection chain hoist family across all their product ranges from 500kg to 5,000kg WLL.(PORTA-GANTRY, PORTA -DAVIT, T- DAVIT and PORTA -QUAD)
OVERLOAD PROTECTION
It protects the operator, the hoist and the lifting system from any overload stresses. If activated the overload will simply not allow hoist lifting operation, but will allow controlled lowering; eliminating repair cost associated with an overloaded hoist. Each hoist (& lifting system) is individually tested to 150% of certified WLL. Easy operation from all approaches and being 25 - 35% easier to use, makes for an easy to use, safe and sound investment in the protection of your staff and equipment.
